Zero-K Battle Scene

Here's another one from the open-source rts game Zero-K. I wanted to do one with a full background.

Finally finished

Finally finished this one... it took way too long to complete. I worked on it in stages taking unreasonably long breaks in between. Well, enjoy.

Starting a new painting

I'm trying a different approach with this one. I'm starting in black and white so I don't become too distracted by vibrant or badly placed colors. Now that I'm about half way there, I'm going to switch to colors. This way the painting won't have that metallic shine that a lot of black and white paintings do that are colored at a late stage.

Finished another one!

Special thanks to PIXELovely for the gesture drawing tool (http://www.pixelovely.com/gesture/) which was used for the last illustration as well as this one... and probably many more to come :)

Having started at my new job, I've been off the cintiq for a while now... but here is a set of poses for the girl character I've been working with lately.
(also, the new job has been great so far)

Dance rough test

It's been quite a while since my last post. I've had a few false starts for other animation tests, as well as a small side project come in. I have made some progress on a leica reel (or basically a very very rough pencil test) for my Goober character dancing. I'm hoping to flesh out these sequences and get it cleaned up so I can have some good animation to show off. Enjoy.
