Finally finished this one... it took way too long to complete. I worked on it in stages taking unreasonably long breaks in between. Well, enjoy.

Starting a new painting

I'm trying a different approach with this one. I'm starting in black and white so I don't become too distracted by vibrant or badly placed colors. Now that I'm about half way there, I'm going to switch to colors. This way the painting won't have that metallic shine that a lot of black and white paintings do that are colored at a late stage.
